GRIN Community Policy

Grin Technologies Inc. (“Grin”) is committed to creating a positive community and enhancing the user experience of our brands and creators (“User(s)”). To help ensure that the use of Grin products and services, the GRIN Intelligent Assistant (“Gia”), https://grin.ai, https://app.grin.ai, and the Gia Creator App aligns with Grin company policies, Grin has described the following prohibited types of content and conduct by Users (the “Community Policy”), as set forth below. 

The guidelines within this Community Policy have been incorporated by reference into Grin’s Terms of Use. By accessing or using Gia, or any related websites, apps, or services, you are indicating that you have read and understand and agree to be bound by the following Community Policy terms and conditions. 

1. Safe, Civil, & Respectful Content

Content is defined as prompts, inputs, text, information, data, audio, visual, and audiovisual information that Users upload or otherwise share with Gia, including any feedback and suggestions to Gia’s outputs, and criteria for Gia’s filtering or search tools.

Grin prioritizes safety for all Users. Malicious or unsafe Content may harm brands and creators, as well as their audiences. Grin does not promote or approve Content or attitudes that may cause or perpetuate harm to Users, including self-harm.

The following types of Content are prohibited:

• Content containing lewd, inappropriate, obscene, and/or coarse language, including pornographic language and language meant to encourage or perpetuate vulgarity, discrimination, and bias
• Content containing graphic violence, promotion of violence, and/or is likely to incite violence
• Content containing graphic sexual encounters and activities, promoting graphic sexual encounters and activities, and/or solicitation of or attempts to solicit sexual encounters and activities 
• Content containing targeted political persuasion of individuals and groups and/or targeted doctrinal persuasion of individuals and groups
• Content containing extremist propaganda, hateful Content, and/or Content likely to perpetuate extremist views, including spreading misinformation and/or language intended to frighten, harm, intimidate, or trick Users
• Content that promotes or depicts self-harm, including disordered eating, unhealthy dieting or exercise behaviors, and Content that contains appearance-based criticisms, comparisons, and critiques 
• Bullying content and/or Content that glorifies suicidal thoughts and depression
• Content that infringes or may infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including Content that infringes the right of publicity of living public figures and/or Content that attempts to recreate the likeness of deceased public figures in contexts where their likeness has not been licensed for use
• Promotion of goods or activities inappropriate for certain minor age groups, including illegal promotion of alcohol, illegal drugs, and harmful substances. 

Engaging in, inputting, or prompting Gia to create such malicious or harmful Content may result in immediate suspension and permanent removal from the platform, including without prior warning.

2. Fair and Responsible AI Use

Grin is committed to upholding principles of fairness, accuracy, responsibility, and accountability in our deployment of our AI products and services. 

AI recommendations are intended to assist decision making and should not replace human judgment. Users that do not incorporate human reviews of outputs risk undermining the fair and responsible use of Grin's products and services. Overreliance on Gia by depending solely on outputs without human judgment is prohibited, and Grin reserves the right to take appropriate action, including warnings, suspension, and/or permanent removal from the platform. 

3. Prohibition on Consequential Decision Making and High-Risk Uses

While Gia is an agentic platform that utilizes multiple specialized agents, Gia is not designed for or intended for use in making or as a substantial factor in making consequential decisions, as such this term is defined under applicable law, or in any way that would qualify Gia as a high-risk AI system or model (or similar term) under applicable law. You may not use Gia to make or as a substantial factor in making any consequential decisions, or in any way that would qualify Gia as a high-risk AI system or model (or similar term) under applicable law. Violations of the foregoing prohibitions may result in appropriate action by Grin, including warnings, suspension, and/or permanent removal from the platform, along with potential breach of contract and other claims.

4. Respect for State and Federal Laws

Grin maintains a digital environment that seeks to comply with applicable state, national laws, including applicable U.S. federal civil rights laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”). Grin does not support discrimination based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, sex, or other prohibited factors. Content containing severely exclusionary language in violation of civil rights laws, including attempts at overt exclusion based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, or sex, is strictly prohibited. 

Users may not, and may not direct Gia, to create any searches or filtering criteria that engage in unlawful discrimination or otherwise exclude, target, penalize, or preference creators in a manner that violates applicable civil rights laws or the ADA. Requests or instructions to identify or filter creators based on protected characteristics, or to avoid or favor creators because of such characteristics, are strictly prohibited, including by the use of proxy criteria or language to function as stand-ins for protected characteristics.

5. Reporting Violations and Grin's Right to Monitor Use of Services

Grin encourages all Users to report any violations, including suspected violations, of this Community Policy to Grin personnel. If you have inadvertently prompted Gia to create Content in violation of this Community Policy, or otherwise believe Gia has created or suggested Content that is prohibited under this Community Policy, you must notify us immediately.

In accordance with Grin’s Terms and Privacy Policy, Grin reserves the right to review and monitor User Content, and the use of Grin’s services, including the Creator Search tools, along with any search criteria and interactions with Gia.
