What is MCP and why does GRIN use it?

GRIN uses MCP because it means partners build once using a protocol they likely already know — and their integration works natively with Gia's intelligence layer. No proprietary SDK. Do I need to build a new integration from scratch?

If you already have an MCP server, you're most of the way there. GRIN's partner layer uses the same MCP protocol that powers tool ecosystems at OpenAI and Anthropic. You'll need to register your capability in the GRIN catalog and define the context Gia needs to recommend it — but the core protocol work is standard MCP.

How does Gia decide when to recommend my capability?

Gia evaluates brand context — what they're trying to accomplish, what data they have, what stage of their creator program they're in — and matches it against what your capability does. Recommendations are based on relevance and past performance, not ad spend or bidding. The more value your integration delivers, the more Gia recommends it.

How do partners make money on GRIN?

Brands subscribe to your capability and pay to use it within their creator program. You set your pricing model — per use, per month, or per workflow — and earn revenue directly from brand subscriptions. GRIN handles billing, and your capability earns as long as brands keep using it.

What kind of data can my integration access?

That depends on your capability's scope. Permissions are defined at registration and enforced at runtime. Read-only integrations can access creator profiles, scoring data, and program analytics. Write-enabled integrations can trigger actions like outreach, gifting, or workflow updates — but write operations require escalating levels of brand approval. Your capability never sees data from other organizations.

Is the partner program open now?
